New installation
All of the Docker images will be stored on Docker Hub. Some of the services will be dedicated to your company. Others will be placed in common repositories and will be downloaded and updated from here.
Database installation
Unless you are using a direct MS SQL database on the cloud, the MS SQL can be installed on the local servers in two different ways
- Directly under the Linux OS with it's own URL
- An image inside Docker These can be installed by our team too if required. During installation the support team may appoint a temporary username and password. It is the duty of the company representative to update this username and password as they see fit.
If it is installed on the Linux OS, a small patch will be executed through MS Studio Manager to prepare the tables and store-procedures for the system to function. The Docker image will have the default table in it already so you don't need to do anything.
The PocketBase database will also be installed on the main server as a Docker image via Docker HUB common repository. Please note that there will be a ready set of data in the Pocket Base database that will be used by the API’s. These sets of data can be edited through ATraqII UI or directly through the PocketBase API via a browser at any time. More details of this will be given during the training/via training material.
Docker images
Once the initial form is filled out, the Docker image will be installed remotely sourced on Docker Hub through the SSH Key and the public IP's set by your IT team.
If you have a paid version of TeamViewer or Webex our team can use this service for remote installation as well though we strongly advise against this. We will NOT be using any other solution, including Anydesk.
As soon as the installation is complete, the support team will do a few tests on the network to make sure that you have sufficient firewall settings. If they run into any problems with the firewall, the team will immediately inform you of the required ports or external services that need to be activated.
The ports that are required to be left open are the MS SQL ports, PocketBase DB ports and the ports for the gateway. The default ports required to be open are:
- 80
- and 443 for email
Once the tests are completed successfully, then the system is ready to be used.
