Accounts

There are three different types of accounts. They are:

Customer accounts

These are accounts of the customer. Meaning the contact for where we sell the system, invoice the system, request payment for the system. For example, the headquarters of a bank, or the headquarters of a multi store apparel franchise. Anyone that buys one system for their home are also customers. Customers are more of the sales and financial part of the business. It is NOT where the system is installed. Each customer may have multiple Site Accounts or even smaller customer accounts connected. For example: The main customer may be McDonald’s. Each US state has their own McDonald’s customer. Each of the McDonald's stores with the alarm system are under the state customer. Each state may be individually billed. But a contact from the HQ may be able to view the alarms generated from each store in all states.

Site accounts

These are the accounts of the site where the system is installed. This is where the technicians go if there is a problem with the alarm panel. This is where the operator sends the security guard or law enforcement officials in the event of an alarm. Don’t forget that ATraqII doesn’t just receive signals from intruder alarm panels, they also receive alarms from:

  • CCTV systems
  • Access Control system alarms
  • Building Management Systems
  • Telemetry systems
  • SCADA alarms
  • Guard Tour system alarms
  • Perimeter Protection systems
  • Fire detection systems
  • Vehicle Tracking systems
  • Home automation system alarms
  • Elevator/escalator alarms
  • Personal emergency transmitters
  • Health/elderly check systems
  • ATM skimming/shimming alarms
  • IoT alarms

The alarms generated from these systems will drop in front of the operator and each one of these systems can be a site connected under the roof of the same customer.

Installer accounts

Installer accounts are where we keep track of all of the installers for each system. This may be just the one company that owns the ARC or it may be multiple installers all connecting to that one ARC.

You also add the technicians through this account. The technicians are important as we allow them to install the systems using the ATraq scheduling and to put the system on servicing hold, observe the incoming signals to make sure that the panel that they have installed is working correctly.
