ποΈ Authorities
The Authorities screen is to determine the authorities given to each personnel groups. Unlike in Atraq Desktop, we are now creating a Role and assigning this role to the contact. If they are to be an operator and technician for example, they can access the details of both roles simultaneously.
ποΈ Operators
The operators screen is where we define the operators. By clicking on add you can add a contact to the operator list. If the required contact is not in the system, then you must create the contact using the CAP.
ποΈ Program Settings
The program settings are for the main default settings we need in the ATraq software. There are some extra features here that were not in ATraq Desktop. These include:
ποΈ Notifications
The new ATraqII now has all of the notification settings in the one screen. As ATraqII develops and the need to communicate with customers through other means of media, this menu will be developing in parallel. At the moment we provide the following notification services:
ποΈ Scene Settings
Scenes are a new approach in ATraqII allowing for the operator to go through only the relevant information to speed the evaluation process.
ποΈ Alarm Types
The Alarm Types are exactly the same as they were in the ATraq Desktop version. We can create a call list for each of the alarm types hence enabling the operator to work much less and make sure they contact the right people on the right event at the right time.
ποΈ Account Types
The Account types are very similar to the Account settings in ATraq Desktop. However, there are a few changes that have been requested by most of you in the past that we have now implemented into the new Account Types settings.
ποΈ Signal Types
The Signal Types are pretty similar to the What you would find in ATraq Desktop. The colors are the same.
ποΈ Protocols
The protocols that are included in ATraqII are the standard Ademco Contact ID, SIA, 4by2 and Highspeed. If the panel has a special protocol, these could be added into the system by our team to make sure the system is working at full speed.
ποΈ Panels
The panels are very similar to the Desktop version of panels. The biggest difference is that you can now store the logo and pictures of the panel.
ποΈ Important Contacts
The Important contacts list is the same as in ATraq Desktop. Instead of entering the important contacts over and over again, you enter it once here and then just right click on the Telephone tab in Site Accounts. Makes life very easy. One of the differences is that you can now also put in extra instructions when calling these important numbers in a text field.
ποΈ Site types
This is exactly the same as the Site types in the desktop version of ATraq. Itβs used to categorise the site type to better understand the type of site that is called, whether it be a residential premises or Bank, the operator has a better understanding of the situation. The reason for this is because the site name may not give away the type of site.
ποΈ Customer types
The customer types is new in ATraqII. The purpose for this type of detail is because we need to create a contact list of the important contacts in that customer. For marketing purposes, for accounting purposes, for technical reasons, we need to be able to contact the right person in charge. So by creating a Customer Type, we are able to add and remove the authorities accordingly.
ποΈ Agreement types
The Agreement type is to diversify the Account type with extra features. For example if they use the Gold package but would like to have guard intervention with the package, then they can create an agreement type with the intervention and add the extra cost of it. By putting a minus sign before the amount will give a discount for whatever reason.
ποΈ Default holidays
The default holidays are the standard holidays that enable the operator to add holidays much more easily than to add it manually for each site.
ποΈ Report shortcuts
During the evaluation of an alarm, the operator needs to take notes on the events that unfold as they are trying to comprehend the situation and if needed send security forces to the premises. The way we can speed this up is bu creating shortcuts where in the report area, if the operator right clicks, they end up with a menu of texts they can choose from. These are generally quick shortcuts to speed the evaluation process.
ποΈ Note categories
In the notes section of site contacts, we can create notes for individual sites. But to categorise the notes, we need to create a list of note categories so it would be much easier for the operator to find what they are looking for during an alarm evaluation process.
ποΈ Active/Inactive categories
When an opertor decides to make a site inactive, ATraqII requires that the operator give a reason why. It's the same if the site is inactive and they want to make them active again. To create these, there are two lists in this menu that you just enter the text reasons.
ποΈ Legal contracts
The legal contracts page is designed to manage all of the contracts that are needed during your operations. These include the following categories:
